It has come to our attention that FCC members posting on MC forums is putting our own forums at risk.

We understand that we cannot tell anyone what to do or not do on any other site, but would respectfully request that you consider the well-being of our comfy place here.

We do believe it’s a valid complaint that’s been voiced about people who choose not to chat there but frequently express themselves negatively in their forums. If the shoe was on the other foot – we would be equally out-raged.

As members there, you have every right to participate in those forums even if you choose not to go into chat. We ask only that you rise above the name calling, and jumping on the bandwagon whenever someone voices a complaint. Please be aware that your choice to do so could have consequences for us all.

And from me personally,

Because many of you know me as a forum junkie and yes, I have spent my fair share of time in the forums there, it may seem hypocritical of me to make such a request. I understand that many of us still feel invested in that site. Some of us have enough information, history and opinion that we feel we can add to try and effect change or help others understand BUT the reality is that nothing any of us can say will have any impact on the way things are there.
However, at this point it would seem that it our participation MAY impact things here.

You may notice that it’s been some time since I have posted anything there, and even longer since I chimed in with anything criticizing them. You can rest assured from this point, you will not see my name there for any reason. TBH, it’s getting easier and easier to stay away even as a forum junkie, cuz there seems to be less and less that those forums have to offer.

I say, lets get these forums more active and totally supplant any need to go there!!
