Hi Guys,
First of all, I’m really sorry that in recent months we have been experiencing weird bouts of lag and other network related issues.
it’s nothing to do with the software or the service, but to do with increased load in traffic in the same datacenter.
I have purchased a more powerful server from a different provider and switched the main FCC chat server to run on it.
If you’re currently experiencing lag issues on your server, please switch to the FCC server and see if you’re still affected.
I will make all server owners OP+ on the FCC Server for the testing period.
If the new provider is more stable than the current one I will switch all servers to the new provider in the next few days.

Can’t wait for the transition to the new server now. 🙂
November 5, 2014 at 3:33 pm #74093satchmoKeymasterOk seems like the newer server is the answer. I’ll work out a plan in the next 24 hours to move the remaining chat servers to the new box.
For users that are having issues updating/downloading the client:
Please keep trying and be patient, a client on one of my XP machines took a few times to complete the download before starting up. I will also be moving the client downloads to a different server too to make sure that it speeds up.

Even with the recent new servers lag was still apparent tonight (Friday)
We have ordered another brand new dedicated server which should improve the situation. We hope to have this in place by Saturday afternoon (GMT)
